Todd,
It was, to say the least, a real pleasure to see you again in Dothan today. I am the embalmer you speak so highly of and I must say you make me feel humble. To serve my fellowman in such a way is a calling that I have answered and I am blessed to work at a place like Ward-Wilson. Will you please give me the name of the poet and poem we disccused today. I have many rare books that you must see someday when you have a minute. I hope that this email finds you safe at home.

Thank you again for the kind words,

Gary

As someone new (1-1/2 yrs) into the funeral business & about to embark on being our funeral home's representative to our community, these "Top 10..." was quite helpful & thought provoking for me. I'm learning the "business" and know that "selling" is really knowing (thoroughly) what you're talking about, and as you said, "answering questions". I look forward to more of your insight.

GREAT IDEA! Thank you very much Todd for this new method of sharing ideas. This is very helpful especially for us who live outside the United States and are on the opposite time zone.

As a Director of Sales and formerly a National Trainer I have found what you say to be so true. In this day and age Staff Meetings and Trainings are a "MUST". You must have a clearly defined reason for meeting and a agenda that covers all the points - a staff meeting must have purpose.

Peoples time is clearly their most valuable asset, and many of my Funeral Homes conduct their meetings "LIVE" on the Internet using Live Streaming so the remote locations can be included and "Green" so to speak because travel is not required.

Many Trainers are no using the same Technology to reach a larger audience either Live, Archived and Vaulted or even a Pay per View because they can reach a National audience without travel downtime.

Keep up the great info...you have a fan in me

Good stuff Todd. Thanks for the benefit of your experience & insight. With all that is going on in funeral service (sometimes distraction), it is good to get back to the basics with some down-to-earth common sense.

First allow me to thank you for sharing your gift and talents with others. I plan to share this with the President/Manager of our firm to lay the foundation of the overall importance of being consistent in our meeting schedule. The suggestion of inviting a guest really creates a different animal within your staff and causes a change the atmosphere and the final results beneficial to all, most important the firm.
