In this episode, Todd explains the commonplace of ambulance services operated by funeral homes. He debunks the myth of the “conflict of interest” skepticism held by the “funeral illiterate” plus as usual Todd shares some specific stories of this time of his career.
Very interesting presentation. As one who entered funeral service in the mid ‘60s, I relate to many of Todd’s stories.
Believe I graduated with Todd Van Beck class of 73, associates degree. I only worked a few years in the funeral industry. Residing in Maine I steered to the Forest Products industry with much success attributing a part of said success with my attendance at NEI and working in the profession where I learned to listen to people.
